The Booster Board is seeking volunteers for several coordinator positions. If you have questions or interest in any of the positions posted below, please contact us: boosterpresident@stsusanna.org.
PLEASE strongly consider volunteering! This is an all-volunteer-run organization and our continued success depends on the support of our community! It's a great way to meet new families while giving back to the ministry that supports our student-athletes! No amount of time is too small and jobs can be split between co-coordinators/friends to lighten the load.
Boosters has the following positions currently open:
Vice President/Boosters Board Member
- work closely with the President to carry out the Booster Guidelines and help accomplish operating goals.
- manage purchasing for large expenditure items (uniforms, equipment, spirit wear)
- oversee and assist with facilities scheduling
- provide oversight for special projects
- attend monthly Booster/Board Meetings typically held the first Monday of every month August through June
- ability/willingness to commit to a 3-year term
- Term beginning July 1, 2025
Coordinator Positions:
Indoor and Outdoor Concessions Coordinators – (2 Positions)
- work with Boosters Treasurer on budget and cash needs
- purchase snacks/food and drinks from vendors and maintain inventory
- schedule deliveries
- communicate with the individual team parents to ensure workers are assigned for each game and understand procedure
- check the concessions on a weekly basis for inventory, cleanliness, and stocking the shelves
- Attend monthly Booster meetings
- 3-year commitment
Boys Volleyball Coordinator
- work with Athletic Directors to seek and vet coaches
- manage player evaluations and team selections for youth level teams
- assist uniform coordinators with distributing uniforms
- conduct pre-season coaches meeting
- attend monthly boosters meetings
- 3-year commitment
- Term beginning July 1, 2025
Cheer Coordinator
- Shadow current coordinator for Fall 2025; term begins July 2026
- Work with athletic director to seek and set coaches for each cheer squad
- Coordinate cheer camp with camp director and staff
- Attend cheer camp and lead parent performance
- Order camp wear, cheer shoes, and cheer briefs
- Work with coaches to fit and pass out uniforms and collect at end of season
- Organize and assign cheer practice times and locations
- Coordinate and lead participation in Mason Heritage Day parade
- Coordinate and organize St. Susanna festival performance with festival chair
- Work with football coordinators for concessions scheduling for home games
- Attend monthly Boosters meetings
Football Co-Coordinator
- work alongside other Football Coordinators and Athletic Director to seek and vet coaches
- attend League Meetings and serve as point of contact with other Booster Organizations for game day communication
- communicate with concession coordinators for parent volunteer schedules
- manage field set up and closure for game days (generally 5 home game days per season)
- coordinate equipment needs and field scheduling with VP and Facilities Director
- conduct pre-season coaches meeting
- attend monthly booster meetings, typically held the first Monday of every month August through June
- ability/willingness to commit to a 3-year term
- Term beginning July 1, 2025 or earlier if available
Dance Coordinator
Competition Team:
- work with Athletic Directors to seek and vet coaches
- manage tryouts and team selection
- assist with uniform selection, ordering, and payment
- selection and registration for 2-3 competitions
- arrange for performance at St. Susanna basketball games
- coordinate practice schedules
- attend monthly boosters meetings
- 3-year commitment
- Term begins July 2025
Recreational Team
- work with Athletic Directors to seek and vet coaches
- assist with uniform selection, ordering, and payment
- arrange for performance at St. Susanna basketball games
- coordinate practice schedules
- attend monthly boosters meetings
- 3-year commitment
- Term begins July 2025
Uniform Coordinator
- work closely with the Vice President to select and design new uniforms
- manage uniform inventory for volleyball, basketball, and cheer (other sports manage their uniforms)
- oversee uniform distribution and collections with the Sports Coordinators
- attend monthly Booster Meetings when necessary
- ideally, there are two coordinators who divide duties between boys’ and girls’ uniforms
- ability/willingness to commit to a 3-year term
- may shadow current uniform coordinators this spring
- Term beginning July 1, 2025
